The preparations for the new season are fully in progress. The so called Twin Games have just ended. These Twin games were meant as extra training weeks for our youth members as well as possibility for trainers and members of the Technical Committee to gain a good view regarding the different qualities and skills of the boys and girls. Finally this will result in the composition of selection and non-selection teams for the new season.

Information from the Technical Commission Youth teams for the season 2019-'20
For the 2017-2018 season a number of 36 youth teams from SVC’08 are registered by the KNVB:
JU19 3 teams (1 selection team)
JU17 3 teams (1 selection team) Team4 will follow as soon as we have enough players for this team!!
JU15 4 teams (1 selection team)
JU13 2 teams (1 selection team)
JU12 3 teams (1 selection team)

The team compositions (selection as well as non-selection) will be done in close cooperation between Head Youth Education (Harold Tjaden), technical coordinators selectionteams JU19/17/15 (" bovenbouw"; Bastiaan Lut) and JU13/11/9/8/7 ("onderbouw"; Ron van Baaren) and lines coordinators and will be published on the website during the first half of July 2017. So keep an eye on the website at that time!!
We still have some vacant positions for lines coordinators JU19, JU12, JU11, JU10, JU9, JU7 or a combination of JU-classes. If you may be interested please let us know by mail: email@example.com. See also the news on the website!!
The relevant line/team coordinators are the first point of contact for trainers, leaders and parents and act as a go-between and support to and from the technical committee and trainers.
During the month of August the technical committee may organize a ‘parents information evening’ or will produce a promotion article or something like that, where the way of education etcetera will be shared. Below is a brief description of how the training will work for the coming season.
The " Cup competition" will start for all teams on Saturday 31 August; the regular completion will start on Saturday 21 September (as far as known right know!!). JU10, JU9 and JU8 will have no cupgames before the competition as announced by the KNVB.
The clubkit can be bought in our clubshop. Please ask for information in the bordroom or commissionroom on the first floor.
During September someone will be available on Wednesday (17.00 ?? 18.30) and Saturday (9.30-11.30).

Training information / Visserijtoernooi / Cup competition / Regular competition
De first trainings will start during the week of 19 august (JO15/JO17/JO19 will start on Tuesday 20 august: JO13.1 (!!) on Monday 19 August) JO8/JO9/JO11/JO13/MO11/MO13 Monday 26 august; JO7 Wednesday 28 august; the specific goalkeeper training will start on Wednesday 4 september. The training for the so called Ukkies wil start on Saturday 7 september.
When a team will start their trainings on a different date there will be an announcement by the trainer in the appgroup.

No trainings during school holidays
During the school holidays in the 2018-2019 season there will be again no trainings for the youth teams at SVC’08 (holidays for Dutch schools and NOT the international schools). We attach importance to clearness and with this agreement we want to avoid any misunderstandings. If we may come to another point of view we will let you know in time.
The beginning of the season for the youth teams is in the form of a tournament called ‘Visserijtoernooi’ for the U19-, U17-, U15- and U13-first teams. This will take place on Saturday the 24th of August. Information will follow on the website and/or via the trainer(s).
