Here comes this weeks commentary : SVC 08 MO11 girls against RKAVV boys JO11 1st April .

It was a wet and foggy start this morning. The girls started their home match nervously on the back of last week's loss but quickly settled down to score the first two goals with Tess opening the score with a fantastic individual effort ending up in the top corner then combining well with Alex from a corner to make it 2-0.
Rosalie, Joy and Milou battled on at the back to help Emilie keep a clean sheet.
Annabel , Dewi and Angela working really hard in that midfield to feed some balls to Tess and Alex always looking to materialised on the counter attacks.
Although the girls looked tired, they found the strength to keep the score alive at 6-5 at the end of Q3.
However the boys strength proved to be too much in Q4 and despite trying hard, the girls lost 9-5 in the end.
Emilie was busy in the box the whole match; strong hand and not shy to put herself on the line. Good effort from everyone but in the end it did not pay off this time. Lessons learnt for next time and hopefully the hard work will pay off!
